Quack Quack!!!!!!!!!

They are so cute!!! We took Mallory and Evan over to the Farmers Coop open house Saturday in Mt Ayr, we just couldn't resist!! We thought they would get to stay at their house, WRONG!, so we have some cute little duckies at our house!! I am sure in a couple weeks, they'll be ready to go swimming!!!

Mallory celebrated her 4th birthday on March 15th! She had so much fun opening presents, but she couldn't wait to put on her new swimsuit all by herself!!!!!

The weather was great Saturday, the kids had fun playing outside with Bella! Evan throws her toys at her, instead of throwing them away from her!!! Mallory just likes to lug her around to keep her away from Evan!!

Spring is coming!

One good sign of spring is new born calves. John's cows are having babies! It is so much fun to get to watch them upclose, they are right out our kitchen window. They have not had to many but it will pick up about the middle of March. Speaking of newborns, Desirae has a new puppy her name is Bella. I am looking forward to spring break so Des will be able to be home to help with the house breaking, so far she has not done to bad. It is just time consuming. Des and I like her, but John is not to thrilled with her, we're hoping that he comes around.
The Sparks Expo was a huge success, the girls had a Lil Sparks camp on a Sunday afternoon, then the little girls performed at the Expo. Des taught the kindergarten girls, her comment after camp was over "I have never been stared at so much in my life!" She did a really good job teaching them and making it fun for them. Mallory participated in the preschool class, notice I said participated and not dance, she thought it was more fun watching the other girls and looking at the crowd. Most of her moves were done, while she was waiting for the dance to start!!

The Sparks did a coed dance, this was alot of fun to watch and the girls had a great time teaching the guys how to dance! All Iowa was this week-end it was awsome, Des had a great time, 270 girls! One more performance at Creston, then this should wrap up the year for drill team. Prom is coming up and track is underway......Busy Busy!!!

Here's a new picture of Evan, Evan's curls are so cute! Now he has a banged up forehead, he fell done a couple of steps and cut his head just above his right eyebrow. He had to be glued back together, which was not very successful! I am sure it will ok, but you know how Grandma's are!! He's trying to yo-yo he can't get the thing to go back up!!! Mallory will be 4 on the 15th, they both are so much fun!

Thought I would end with a good laugh! Spring is coming and the cat is going outside!!!
